NRMA Safety Hub
Insurance typically helps only after disaster strikes, leaving lives devastated and people in distress. The NRMA Safety Hub reimagined this approach, using claims money to prevent disasters instead. Through a mobile app, customers completed risk-reducing tasks—like clearing gutters or replacing $9 flexi-hoses—and earned rewards for each action.
A tailored communications journey guided and motivated users throughout the process. Launched to 200,000 customers, the app removed millions in risk and was highly effective: 97% viewed NRMA as more proactive, 83% felt valued, and 79% were likelier to recommend it. Safety Hub is the first insurance platform to reward prevention over tenure or policy count.
