Myer Design System

In reimagining Myer’s email design system, my team approached it as both a technical framework and a brand re‑expression. The goal was to translate the refreshed visual identity into a modular, scalable system that could handle the complexity of retail communications while feeling elevated and fashion‑forward. We built a flexible set of components, from editorial‑driven hero modules through to utility‑focused product grids, ensuring they could be reused, recombined and scaled across hundreds of campaigns without losing consistency.

Every detail, from typography hierarchy to spacing ratios and colour use, was calibrated to echo the aesthetic clarity of leading fashion houses while still driving commerce. Accessibility and mobile‑first adaptability were baked into the system so it can meet customers wherever they are. Through this, Myer’s emails became less transactional and more editorial, with a cohesive, modern design language that reinforces its role as Australia’s destination for style.

Built for Efficiency 

By building the system as a suite of modular components uploaded into the Email Campaign Builder, we’ve created a workflow that is both efficient and empowering. The drag‑and‑drop functionality means marketing teams can quickly assemble campaigns without design or development bottlenecks, while still maintaining brand precision.
