McKinnon
When McKinnon approached us to redesign their digital presence, they were operating five separate websites that had evolved organically over time, creating a fragmented user experience that didn't reflect their unified mission of empowering better governments for Australia. As Head of Experience Design, I led a comprehensive consolidation project that brought these disparate digital touchpoints together under their refreshed brand identity. The challenge was significant: maintaining the distinct personality of each program area while creating a cohesive ecosystem that would strengthen McKinnon's position as Australia's leading non-partisan advocate for political leadership development and democratic innovation.

The McKinnon Digital Transformation
The resulting website is a testament to strategic design thinking and meticulous execution. By developing a flexible component system rooted in McKinnon's renewed brand identity, we created a digital experience that seamlessly weaves together their interconnected goals of political leadership, public sector productivity, democratic engagement, and policy innovation. Clean typography, considered use of white space, and a sophisticated colour palette communicate trust and authority, while intuitive navigation and purposeful content architecture ensure visitors can easily discover how McKinnon's various initiatives work together to build a stronger democracy.
